FPV Ventures Launches Debut Fund

FPV Ventures is a new $450M Fund founded by Pegah Ebrahimi and Wesley Chan that backs and serves mission-driven founders. FPV is an investor in Canva, Flexport, Guild Education, Xilis, and Manifold Bio. Most of the fund’s investors/LPs are mission-driven endowments for charities, foundations, and universities doing great things for the world.

Felicis Ventures and Morgan Stanley alumni Wesley Chan and Pegah Ebrahimi have raised $450 million for a debut fund that launches their venture capital firm FPV, defying the sour mood among private technology investors.

The pair will be investing across all stages, with an emphasis on early stage deals, where they have experience. Chan, who recently left venture capital firm Felicis and previously worked at Alphabet Inc.’s venture arm GV, made early bets on Flexport Inc., Robinhood Markets Inc., Plaid Inc. and Gusto.
